Although this technique does involve glue, if they're installed and removed correctly, IKSL can be a great option.

 

IKSL cannot be tightened, so maintenance appointments aren't required. They are installed and left to grow with your hair for 1-6 months before removing.

 

For those with finer hair, a full head is usually 100 strands.

If you have medium-thick hair it's recommended to get 125-150 strands.

Clients with extremely thick hair have done up to 250 strands.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Great for fine-medium hair

  • Easy to put in a pony tail. These hide well in a ponytail because they're so small.

  • ​Don't need to be tightened, so they're great for clients who live far away.

Cons

  • "Individual hair" runs on the finer side, so you may need to add on extra strands to get the thickness you desire

  • These involve glue, so if you don't take care of them you could risk damage to your hair. 

  • Can't be tightened, so clients who like the feeling of tight extensions probably wouldn't like these.
